Fees and Policies
THERAPY
Clinical Psychology: $260.00 per privately funded 50minute session. This rate is $51 below the standard recommended rate outlined by the Australian Psychological Society in 2024-25.
Medicare rebates available. If applicable, as of July 1 the available Medicare rebate is $141. 85 ($118.15 out-of-pocket expenses).
To access the Medicare Better Access rebate for Psychology sessions you need to provide the following:
Referral letter from your GP or Psychiatrist, plus Mental Health Care Plan for an eligible condition. This can be provided in advance via email or fax, or with you to your first session.
You will need a review appointment with your GP or Psychiatrist after 6 sessions in order to access an additional 4 sessions.
You are not charged extra for a required brief letter back to the referrer after sessions 1, 6 and 10.
Please note: We do not provide eating disorders services or pregnancy support counselling.
We are unable to be a bulk-billing practice.
Private Health insurance rebates available (please check with your insurer).
NDIS rates accepted for self and plan-managed NDIS clients.
As we are not registered NDIS providers, we cannot accept NDIA/agency managed clients.
DVA Health Cards (Gold and White) are accepted as payment upon a GP/Psychiatrist referral.
Garrison health rates for serving defence force members accepted upon referral from GP, Medical Officer or Psychiatrist.
Fees will otherwise be directly negotiated with any third-party payer and may differ from the above private rate/s.
ASSESSMENTS
Neuropsychological Assessment: (NPA) $260.00 per hour for in-person or Telehealth assessment, scoring, report writing and results feedback (if applicable).
This rate is $51 below the standard recommended rate outlined by the Australian Psychological Society in 2024-25.
Most assessments are fee by negotiation, or capped at a maximum expenditure. A cost estimate depending on the type of assessment will be provided to you up-front. For example: A Dementia diagnostic assessment of maximum 4hours assessment + 3hrs paperwork and report writing = $1820.00.
Despite lobbying from Clinical Neuropsychologists, we were not successful in seeking assessments to be included in any Medicare-funded program. There are no Medicare rebates available for NPAs.
Modest private health insurance rebates available (please check with your insurer).

CANCELLATION POLICY
Clinical Psychology appointment non-attendance, cancellations, and re-scheduling <48 hours – full fee payable ($260.00). There are no rebates available for any cancellation fees.
Clinical Neuropsychology appointment non-attendance, cancellations and re-scheduling <3 Days - $500.00 cancellation fee applies.
Please note that some schemes and third party-payers do allow cancellation fees to be charged directly to the client in accordance with the above cancellation policy and will not provide reimbursement to the client.
